The loss of the beloved tree at Sycamore Gap was a moment of deep sadness, a symbol of quiet strength suddenly gone. Yet even in this act of destruction, there is space for hope. Seeds from the fallen sycamore have been collected, and saplings will grow—carrying forward the legacy of the original tree. Nature teaches us resilience; from loss can come renewal. Though the landscape has changed, the spirit of the tree lives on in memory, in new growth, and in the collective care of all who cherished it. Like storytelling, art can be powerfull at keeping memory alive.
 
The mini etching within the pendant has been created with archival paper pressed on my etching press and oil etching ink.
