Trees hold a sacred place in myth and folklore, often seen as symbols of life, wisdom, and connection between worlds. In many cultures, they are regarded as cosmic bridges—roots deep in the earth, branches reaching toward the heavens. The Norse Yggdrasil, a great world tree, connected all realms of existence, while in Celtic tradition, certain trees were believed to house spirits and offer protection. Trees embody endurance, growth, and the cyclical nature of life, standing as ancient witnesses to the stories of the land.
