The hare is a creature rich in myth and folklore, often symbolising rebirth, intuition, and transformation. In Celtic mythology, it was believed to be a magical being connected to the moon and the Otherworld, able to cross between realms. In many traditions, hares are messengers or shape-shifters, associated with springtime and the cycle of renewal. Their elusive nature and nocturnal habits have long linked them to the mysterious and the mystical.
 
The mini etching within the pendant has been created with archival paper pressed on my etching press and oil etching ink. Hand embellished with gold pigments.
