These are all monoprints. (Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that produces a unique, one-of-a-kind image. It involves applying ink or paint to a smooth surface such as a printing plate or glass, then pressing paper onto it to transfer the design. I often work freely and spontaneously, manipulating the ink directly on the plate before making the print. While some elements can be repeated, each monoprint is distinctive due to the hand-drawn or painted details added in the process.)
