The raven is a powerful and complex figure in myth and folklore, often seen as a messenger between worlds. In Norse mythology, Odin’s ravens, Huginn and Muninn, symbolised thought and memory. Among many Indigenous cultures of the Pacific Northwest, the raven is a trickster and creator, bringing light to the world. Often associated with prophecy, transformation, and the mysteries of life and death, the raven embodies both wisdom and enigma, straddling the line between darkness and insight.
